BULLDOG HEALTH CONTRACT & TERMS
FOR AND IN CONSIDERATION OF THE COVENANTS AND AGREEMENTS CONTAINED HEREIN, INCLUDING THE FULL AND CONTINUOUS COMPLIANCE WITH THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THIS AGREEMENT BY THE BUYER, THE PARTIES AGREE AS FOLLOWS: This agreement is made this ___ day of ______, 2022, and is between the breeder(s)(seller(s)) and the buyer(s) as named below: SELLER: ________________________________________________________ BUYER: ________________________________________________ Puppy is sold as a: [X] PET* [ ] SHOW POTENIAL* *PET: means this puppy/dog is being sold as a pet only. *SHOW POTENTIAL: means this puppy/dog is being sold as a show prospect. This means it meets the breed standards and is suitable for the show ring but does NOT guarantee the dog will do well in the show ring. Buyer understands that even though the dog is being sold as a show potential dog, it is still a PET first and foremost. Other Conditions If this puppy is being sold as a co-owned show potential puppy. Seller's name will be listed as the primary owner on the puppy until which time it is finished or has had her first litter. First breeding will be at the discretion of the Seller; as will the selection of the stud for said litter. Purchaser agrees to allow Seller FIRST pick of seller’s choice from said breeding. In the event only one viable puppy is whelped, Seller agrees to take FIRST pick of seller’s choice from another litter, should one arise. Description of Puppy Breed: Bulldog Color/Markings: ________________ Sex: ______________ DOB: _____________ SIRE: __________________________________ DAM: __________________________________ AKC Registration #: _______________________ The adoption price of said puppy is $3,000.00 Seller’s Declarations 1.The seller maintains a parasite and disease free environment. 2.Puppy is purebred and eligible for AKC registration. 3.Seller is not a veterinarian. 4.The puppy is guaranteed to be in good health to best of my knowledge at the time of ownership. (A licensed veterinarian must examine your puppy within 5 days to validate the health guarantee). 5.Puppy is taken on an "as is" basis. The seller assumes no financial responsibility of the puppy after leaving the pick-up premises for medical expenses, injury, medical problems, landlord disapproval, family allergy to puppy, disagreement from family, or for any other reason. However, if at ANY time the buyer can no longer provide proper care of the puppy, the puppy/dog must be returned to the seller at Trinity Bullodogs at buyer’s expense. 6.All puppies have been wormed and vaccinated against infectious diseases according to age. 7.All Trinity Bulldog puppies are raised in a family home and environment. 8.All puppies are well socialized. Seller’s Requirements & Restrictions 1.Your puppy should be altered between the age of 18 months and 24 months (this requirement is N/A if adopted for the show ring or other conditions apply). 2.Puppy is sold as an indoor companion pet. This means your new puppy/dog should be spending most of its day in companionship with YOU, its new owner, buddy, pal, lifelong friend!! 3.No puppy is ever to be euthanized! This is forbidden!!! **(In the event this becomes mandatory, adopter must provide the seller with a full veterinary report within 72 hours**) 4.Puppy may NOT go to any of the following: pet shop, research facility, laboratory, puppy mill, backyard breeder, or any/all similar type facilities engaged in the business of animals for any reason or purpose. 5.Puppy will be provided with the following: annual veterinarian exams, including heartworm checks & preventatives, regular deworming, vaccinations yearly or every 3 years, as determined by your veterinarian, this includes rabies vaccinations. 6.Adopter fully understands that no cash refunds/exchanges will be given. PLEASE choose your puppy carefully, there are no exchanges. Full payment is due prior to physical possession of puppy (when we meet before puppy is allowed to leave) 7.Zelle or cash are the ONLY methods of payment Trinity Bulldogs currently accepts. 8.Buyer agrees to be a responsible dog owner and pledges to take care of their dogs SAFETY needs. **Safety includes that no Trinity Bulldogs is ever to be housed with an aggressive dog. NEVER, EVER UNDER ANY TERMS, CONDITIONS, OR OTHERWISE should any Trinity Bulldog puppy or dog ever be involved (even remotely involved) in the horrific illegal business of dog fighting in any way, shape, or form. If you violate this requirement it shall result in: IMMEDIATE REPOSSESSION of puppy/dog by a TRINITY BULLDOG OWNER, EMPLOYEE, OR REPRESENTATIVE!! The Sheriff/Local Law Enforcement Office, ASPCA, Humane Society, Peta, Media etc will be notified immediately. Animal Cruelty is a Federal Felony Crime. Health Guarantee 1. The health of the puppy named in this contract has been examined by seller’s licensed veterinarian, has been vaccinated and de-wormed according to the accompanying health record and deemed healthy upon physical ownership by buyer. For infections, unsatisfactory, or poor health, and contagious diseases, the cause of which is clearly attributable to the seller, written documentation must be presented by buyer’s licensed veterinarian to seller within 5 days. 2.This puppy is guaranteed from birth to 1 year old for any life threatening hereditary congenital defects such as heart defect, hip and elbow dysplasia and pathological spinal disorder. No other congenital disorders are covered. If the puppy is tested and found to have one of the above life threatening hereditary condition (A letter from a licensed veterinarian certifying defect is required prior to replacement), Seller shall replace the puppy provided the puppy and AKC papers are returned to seller (at the buyer’s expense) for the next available similar puppy. 3.This guarantee does not cover any common puppy ailments such as: fleas, worms, viral, bacterial diseases or diseases brought on by parasites, kennel cough, coccidia, giardia, or parasites, as they are common in dogs and puppies. 4.This guarantee does not cover common breed minor concerns, such as: Cherry eye, entropion, elongated palate, stenoic nares or skin allergies. 5.This guarantee does not cover certain causes of death such as aspiration from vomiting, collapsed trachea, heat stroke, dehydration, hit by car etc. 6.Puppies are sold as pet quality unless otherwise noted. No guarantee is made regarding temperament, size, or conformation. 7.This Health Guarantee will be valid ONLY if a licensed veterinarian examines puppy within 5 days of physical ownership by buyer. If the puppy is not examined within the time allotted the Health Guarantee is null and void. The rest of the contract will remain in force. BY SIGNING THIS DOCUMENT, YOU ARE MAKING A COMMITMENT TO LOVE, HONOR, AND CHERISH A LIVING THING. YOU ARE BEING ENTRUSTED WITH A PRECIOUS GIFT THAT REQUIRES THE LOVE, ATTENTION, AND CARE OF A NEWBORN BABY. THIS PUPPY HAS BEEN LOVED SINCE BIRTH AND IS NOW BEING BESTOWED UPON YOU. PLEASE GIVE HIM OR HER THE LOVE, DEVOTION, AND AFFECTION THEY DESERVE. DOGS ARE NOT DISPOSABLE!!!! This document is a legally binding contract. The laws of the state of Louisiana shall be controlling. Any/all disputes regarding this contract shall be brought before the state of Louisiana courts of law in the town of Franklin, La. There are no other conditions or guarantees, whether verbal or implied.
